We are currently looking for a Cook to join the Orchid Woodlands Healthcare Ltd team at Orchid Woodlands in Atherton, Manchester, M46 9HH
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual with a positive outlook to come and join our dedicated team and be a key part of our mealtime experience. We are looking to recruit a Care Home Cook on a Full time, permanent contract who can boast the following attributes:
You will have a great knowledge and passion for food with a relevant track record of creating and cooking a variety of homemade meals, desserts and baking.
You will need to be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills.
Able to work on your own initiative and perform as part of a small team.
Be responsible for the cleaning of the kitchen, surrounding areas and equipment to maintain our exacting standards.
Comply with all Health & Safety, Hygiene, Fire Regulations and other policies and procedures.
Previous experience within a Care Home environment is preferred.
The role is day shift (8AM to 6PM)- 27 to 36 hours per week and additional hours may be available to cover holidays and sickness.
