Pay: £14- £17 per hour depending on experience City Centre Recruitment is seeking a reliable and experienced Chefs to join our team.
The Role includes:
- Preparing, cooking, and serving meals to a high standard
- Managing stock control and placing food orders
- Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries
- Ensuring allergen and food safety standards are consistently met
- Monitoring food and equipment temperatures and maintaining hygiene practices
Some travel to nearby local sites may occasionally be required.
About You
- ✅ Strong cooking and food preparation experience
- ✅ Confidence leading a small team
- ✅ A flexible, hands-on approach and ability to work under pressure
- ✅ A good level of general education, including English and Maths
- Desirable but not essential:
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification
- Previous experience as a chef de partie
- Knowledge of health & safety and allergen management
