Chef De Partie

Job Overview An independent Italian restaurant in the heart of Cleckheaton is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our established kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly, efficiently and in a compliant manner. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef wanting to develop their experience within Italian cuisine with the opportunity to progress and develop within the business.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
• Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests
• Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas and improvements Requirements
• Proven experience in food preparation & cooking within a restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
• Excellent skills in food preparation, plating, and presentation
• Previous kitchen experience, ideally as a Chef de Partie or as a junior wishing to take the next step
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• A passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in the hospitality industry Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
• Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
• Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
