Chef / All Rounder – Reggae Shack Reggae Shack is a family run Caribbean food brand, founded in 2020 and based in London.

Known for our 5 star food, real flavour and consistent quality, we’ve built a strong community with customers travelling from all over to eat with us. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for the right person to join the team and be part of the journey.

The Role

We’re looking for a chef / all rounder who can support across the kitchen and shop, with a strong focus on authentic Jamaican food.

• This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in:
• Food prep and meat prep
• Assisting during busy service
• Cooking and contributing to the menu
• Preparing authentic Jamaican dishes (e.g. oxtail)
• Bringing your own recipes and ideas into the kitchen
• Supporting with patties, desserts, fresh juices and drinks
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness at all times
• Keeping the kitchen and shop organised
• Supporting day to day operations This role suits someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the business and takes pride in their work.
• What We’re Looking For
• Reliable, punctual and consistent
• Works with pace and takes initiative
• Strong communication skills
• Genuine passion for Jamaican food
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Minimum 2 years kitchen experience
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (required)
• Strong understanding of food safety and cleanliness We’re proud to maintain a 5 star hygiene rating , so attention to detail is essential.

• Pay based on experience
