Chef De Partie

Kilver Court is looking for a passionate, highly organised Events & Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting, hands on role for someone with a great eye for detail and thrives in a fast paced hospitality environment and enjoys delivering curated events alongside creative marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Delivery
o Organising and managing events from initial enquiry through to delivery and post-event follow up and working with the Head of Operations to ensure event logistics are seamless
o Setting out a yearly event diary
o Managing event setup, on site operations and teardown
o Producing accurate event documentation and detailed function sheets
o Coordinating suppliers, staffing requirements and staff briefings
o Managing and supporting the catering front of house team on event days
o Working closely with chefs to ensure seamless communication between the kitchen and events team
o Troubleshooting and handling client queries on the day to ensure events run smoothly
Operational & Commercial Focus
o Managing multiple events simultaneously
o Demonstrating strong commercial awareness with a focus on profitability
o Maintaining exceptional attention to detail across all aspects of event delivery
Marketing & Content
o Supporting marketing activity across digital platforms
o Assisting with content creation, social media management and on site filming with our social media consultant
o Using basic design and office tools to support marketing campaigns
Required Experience & Qualities
o Experience in a professional, high quality hospitality environment
o Experience in a similar events management role
o At least 1 year’s experience in a marketing or events role
o Highly positive and professional attitude and appearance
o Excellent organisation, communication and problem solving skills
o Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
o Proficient in Office 365
Essential Requirements
o Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
Desirable
o Experience in content creation, video editing or social media management
o Experience using Canva, Photoshop or similar design tools
o Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
o An interest in gardening, interiors, home or lifestyle content
o Design background
