Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Monitor food production processes to ensure quality control and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings. Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
