Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Must be able to cook basic Indian dishes along with British/European cuisine.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant’s menu and standards.
• Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in food presentation.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff as required. Requirements
• Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
• Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
