Head Chef

Head Chef – Modern Italian | £40–45k + Bonus (Up to £54k) Chef to Chef.

We’re looking for a hands-on Head Chef to lead a busy, long-established Italian restaurant serving modern Italian food with a twist .

This is a serious kitchen with serious volume – strong pre-theatre trade with 200+ covers on busy shifts plus steady dining service. It needs a chef who is not afraid of hard work , can run a tight kitchen , and will lead from the front .

You’ll be working with thoughtful menus , quality ingredients and a kitchen where most elements are already made in house , with a clear direction to push that even further. Menus have recently been refreshed and the kitchen tools upgraded.

This role suits a chef who is organised, clean, positive and confident managing a multicultural team , but who is also happy to jump on a section when service demands it .

It’s a demanding kitchen, but it’s also a stable, well-run restaurant with a good working environment and a team that cares about food .
