Kitchen Assistant – Acorn Lodge Care Home To ensure the kitchen and equipment is kept clean and to help with the preparation of food when required.
To be available to assist the Chef in any job that is deemed necessary which could include: Washing up, Preparation of vegetables, Cleaning of kitchen and equipment, Assist with the cleaning of serveries on a daily basis, Collect and distribute crockery from the resident areas, Preparation of meals within your capabilities.
For compliance with the Health & Safety Policy in kitchen and stores.
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and stores.
To be fully conversant with the rules and procedures carried out in the event of fire.
To ensure all Procedures and Work Instructions in the Quality Manual are undertaken.
