Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and preparing a variety of dishes in line with menu specifications
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during service periods, ensuring smooth operations
• Oversee food production processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Manage food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
• Support team management by training junior staff and fostering a collaborative working environment
• Contribute to menu development and recipe testing to enhance culinary offerings
• Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail
• Serve as a role model for professionalism and excellent customer service within the kitchen environment Requirements
• Proven experience in a kitchen setting, preferably within hospitality or restaurant environments
• Background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
• Demonstrable supervisory experience with team management capabilities
• Knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
• Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and customer service standards
• Previous experience in hospitality or catering roles is highly desirable
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene within the kitchen environment Job Type: Full-time
