The experience to maintain kitchen equipment
Some of the things you will be doing as a Kitchen Team Member
Assisting with food preparation.
Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
Overseeing deliveries.
Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
Work with the team to achieve company targets.

We’re a small batch of handpicked locals – your home for British hospitality. Regardless of the occasion, we’re here to serve great-tasting food and drink, with our guests at the heart of everything we do. At the bottom of the staggering Whitby 199 steps is The Duke Of York, a traditional British pub in the heart of Whitby. Our food menu offers a range of delicious British classics and more modern delights, from Sunday lunches to hearty breakfasts, sumptuous sweets and more. Or, if our guests are looking for some well-earned refreshment after completing the descent, our selection of cask and craft ales, wines, spirits and cocktails will do the trick nicely. We also offer eight stunning en-suite rooms, making us the perfect long and short-stay spot for regulars and visitors looking to explore our beautiful seaside town.
