Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and passionate Indian Buffet Chef to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes for our buffet service, ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Duties

• Prepare a variety of traditional Indian dishes for buffet service, maintaining authentic flavours and presentation standards
• Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety procedures
• Manage food inventory, minimise waste, and ensure timely replenishment of buffet items
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
• Monitor food safety standards and implement best practices across all kitchen operations
• Lead by example in demonstrating hospitality excellence and fostering a positive team environment Qualifications
• Proven experience in Indian cuisine preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Supervising experience in a busy kitchen environment
• Strong skills in food production, cooking, and food safety compliance
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with team management experience
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service standards
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Previous experience in hospitality or culinary roles preferred but not essential; passion for Indian cuisine is highly valued
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous This role is ideal for a dedicated chef looking to showcase their expertise in Indian buffet cuisine while leading a dynamic team.

• Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
