Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate CDP to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow food safety procedures diligently, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment to management
- Assist with cleaning duties at the end of each shift to uphold hygiene standards Experience
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety protocols
- Experience with meal preparation and food safety practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving procedures within a hospitality setting is beneficial
