Head Chef

Responsibilities as Breakfast Chef:

• Managing the breakfast section independently, ensuring smooth and efficient morning service
• Preparing and delivering high-quality breakfast dishes to a consistent standard
• Ensuring all mise en place is completed prior to service, including hot and cold breakfast items
• Maintaining excellent stock control, minimising waste, and ensuring proper rotation of ingredients
• Taking responsibility for the quality and freshness of all breakfast produce and prepared items
• Executing breakfast service efficiently, maintaining speed without compromising quality
• Ensuring the cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of the kitchen, particularly after early service
• Supporting the Head Chef / Sous Chef in maintaining overall kitchen standards
• Maintaining a positive, proactive attitude, especially during early morning shifts
• Complying with all health & safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies
• Carrying out additional duties as required by senior kitchen management The Ideal Breakfast Chef:
• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie, or similar role in a quality establishment
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced morning service
• Passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and well-presented dishes
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills, particularly for early starts
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistency in early morning shifts
• Professional, well-presented, and a strong team player
• Demonstrates commitment, consistency, and longevity in previous roles Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: From £13.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
