About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our team for a busy seasonal period. This is a fast-paced role that plays a vital part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during peak times. You’ll support chefs and kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and assisting with basic food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
- Keeping the kitchen and storage areas clean and hygienic
- Assisting with basic food preparation (e.g. peeling, chopping)
- Ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored
- Taking out rubbish and maintaining waste areas
- Following health and safety and food hygiene standards at all times
- Supporting the wider kitchen team as needed Requirements:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure, especially during busy seasonal periods
- Good attention to detail and cleanliness
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Previous experience is a plus but not essential (training provided) What We Offer:
